# 2018 IEEE BHI and BSN Data Challenge

This project contains slides and sample notebooks for the 2018 IEEE BHI-BSN Challenge, which explored the following question:

> Are patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) on a weekend more likely to die in the hospital than those admitted on a weekday?

- notebooks: Folder containing a simple example analysis in R and Python notebooks.
